I never figured out my feelings about this show.

Like on one hand, it’s a hilarious parody of shows like Power Rangers, it actually had dark and interesting moments, and the voice cast included Greg Cipes and Ashley Johnson (Beast Boy and Terra from Teen Titans) as Cheero and Jinmay, Tom Kenny and Clancy Brown (SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob SquarePants) as Gibson and Otto, and glorious Kevin Michael Richardson (Trigon from Teen Titans, Dark Laser from Fairly OddParents, Gantu from Lilo and Stitch, Martian Manhunter and Nabu from Young Justice, Kilowog from Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Sheriff Blubs from Gravity Falls, etc, etc) as Antauri.

On the other hand, it was pretty weird (borderline senseless and disgusting for some episodes, even), rather inconsistent with the more personal lessons the characters learned, and very unclear about the state of Shugazoom and the citizens’ stance towards Cheero and the Monkeys.

Not to mention that it ended on a cliffhanger…

Ultimately, I had no idea if I loved it, hated it or was just plain indifferent towards it. :/ I suppose it was a mixture of all three depending on the episode and arc?
